it was almost 30 minutes past midnight, that Unni announced that he need some thing to finish his brandy  and me and Mundan ( aka Sandeep Rajan ) jumped to get some thing for him… I knew that guy beside Leela Palace who sells tea and omelets up to 4 AM

and we went to him, as there was no other shops open.  And ordered a few omelets and bread sandwiches. Seeing him preparing them, I remembered the hostel days when we used to cook in the midnight, from the hostel mess.. and those unpredictable things…

It was a Friday eve that  went to meet him.  Even though we have been living nearby for months, It was now that we both of us got time to meet. Life is like that.. for 2-3 years we have been together and now every one finds it difficult to find some time to meet and share things.. Yeah, its true that every one have their own priorities.

And I said to mundan if we could plan some trip some time later.  And everything happened later was very fast that we left to Nandi hills at 2 30 am.

It was a nice drive and the road to the devanahally is so well constructed and maintained that I loved the drive! and after come time Mundan took the charge of the drive… by then, all others were in deep sleep…  It was on a curve that I noticed a speed breaker, which he didnt… ok.. everything finished in a flash! all the sleeping guys became awake and I can see a desperation in his eyes that he didnt notice the hump…

and by 5 am we reached Nandi … and it so freezing that no one wished to come out of the car! and slept for some time in the car, and then we went inside … the sunrise was an awesome sight which I wich to see once again!

had some break fast and by 9, we returned…by 1030 reached Mundan’s home, bathe and dropped ckp to his office and came back, had Lunch from the kerala mess… and slept as it I have not slept for days!

It was after a long days, I am going for a trip which is planned at the moment we went to the trip.. The uncertainity in such trips is thrilling… I wish to make such a sudden trip to goa once… and I hope it’ll happen soon
